At The Sensory Rooms, innovation meets inclusivity to create meaningful, enriching experiences for people of all abilities.

Founded by Kellie Baldwin and co-founded by Samantha “Smarty” Cranston, our space is built on decades of combined experience, passion, and dedication. Kellie brings over 20 years of experience in the disability sector and was the original inspiration behind The Sensory Rooms. Smarty, who has worked with children and adults with disabilities since 2004, played a key role in bringing that vision to life.

With strong backgrounds in education, both Kellie and Smarty share a deep understanding of diverse learning needs and the importance of creating supportive, engaging environments where individuals can thrive.

Their combined expertise has shaped a welcoming space where people can explore, grow, and feel supported. From children discovering new ways to play and learn, to adults finding calm, comfort, and emotional regulation, every experience is thoughtfully designed with care and understanding.

We believe in the transformative power of sensory exploration to enhance learning, communication, emotional regulation, and confidence. Our team is dedicated to nurturing each individual’s unique strengths in a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.
